Points for attention in installation of radar water level meter:
Whether the radar level gauge can be correctly measured depends on the reflected wave signal. If the electromagnetic wave can not be reflected back to the radar antenna at the selected installation position, or if the jamming wave is reflected to the radar level meter within the range of the signal wave, the radar level meter can not correctly reflect the actual level. Therefore, it is very important to choose the installation position reasonably for the radar level meter. The following points should be paid attention to when installing the radar level meter: 

(1) The antenna axis of the radar level meter should be perpendicular to the reflecting surface of the liquid level. It

(2) If the stirring valve, the adhesion of the tank wall and the ladder and other objects in the tank are within the signal range of the radar level meter, the interference reflection wave will be generated, which will affect the level measurement. When installing, choose the proper installation position to avoid the interference of these factors. It

(3) the horn of the horn type radar liquid level gauge must exceed the distance of the inner surface of the installation hole (>10mm). The antenna of the bar type liquid level gauge should extend the installation hole, and the length of the installation hole can not exceed 100mm. For a circular or elliptical container, it should be located at a distance of 1/2R (R is the radius of the container) from the center, not at the center of the top of the circular or elliptical container. Otherwise, after multiple reflections on the wall of the container, the radar wave will converge at the center of the top of the container, forming a strong interference wave, which will affect the accurate measurement.
