Pay attention to the installation direction of the flowmeter when wiring the pipeline in the field. Since the installation direction of the flowmeter is generally divided into vertical installation mode and horizontal installation mode, there is a difference in flow measurement performance between the two installation modes. For example, the vertical flow of fluid will cause additional pressure on the flowmeter sensor to affect the performance of the flowmeter, which will reduce the linearity and repeatability of the flowmeter. The direction in which the flowmeter is installed also depends on the physical properties of the fluid. For example, horizontal pipes may precipitate solid particles, so it is preferable to measure the flow meter having such a state to be installed in a vertical pipe.
