The selection is different: ordinary radars can be used interchangeably, and the guided wave radars are generally not interchangeable because the length of the probes (cables) is fixed according to the original working conditions, and the selection of the guided wave radar is more troublesome than the ordinary radar. .
The measurement range is different: ordinary radar is more common in tanks of 30 and 40 m, and even 60 m can be measured. Guided wave radars also need to consider the force of the probe (cable), but also because of the force, the measurement distance of the guided wave radar is generally not very long. However, in some special conditions, the guided wave radar has obvious advantages, such as agitation in the tank and large fluctuation of the medium. Such a working condition is stable with a fixed-wave guided radar at the bottom; it is more stable than a modified radar; Level measurement, because the installation measurement space is small (or there are more interferences in the tank), the general radar is not applicable, and the advantages of the guided wave radar are revealed.
