(1) The strong vibration of the pipeline will have certain influence on the measurement of the vortex flowmeter. Therefore, when selecting the installation position of the vortex flowmeter, it should be avoided to be installed on the pipeline with strong vibration to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy. When the pipe is vibrating, shock absorbing measures must be taken.
(2) The presence of the power frequency interference signal will also have a very large impact on the measurement of the vortex flowmeter, and the power frequency signal will be superimposed on the measurement signal. Therefore, the vortex flowmeter should be avoided in the environment where high-power motors exist. In this environment, it is necessary to take the instrument grounding, select the shielded cable, and use the DC signal to eliminate the power frequency interference.
(3) The upstream surface of the vortex flowmeter vortex generator must face the direction of fluid flow, and special attention should be paid during installation, otherwise a very large deviation will occur.
(4) In the system with flow regulation of the vortex flowmeter, the vortex flowmeter must be installed in front of the regulating valve even if it meets the requirements of the straight pipe section. Otherwise, the jet generated by the regulating valve will affect the measurement of the vortex flowmeter, and the valve will be opened and the flow will increase.
