Continuous Chemical Level Without Wetted Contact Chemical Tank Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is designed for atmospheric acid, alkali and water-treatment chemical tanks where ultrasonic echoes remain viable. Corrosive liquid can attack wetted probes, but dense vapor, foam, fuming and temperature gradients may also weaken an ultrasonic return. A non-contact transmitter reduces direct chemical exposure and can provide inventory, refill and high-level signals from above the tank. Non-contact measurement keeps the sensor away from wastewater, chemicals and moving equipment, while local display and signal outputs support continuous control. Gallop lists compact and split structures, 0.4 to 20 m measuring ranges, ±0.5 percent full-scale accuracy, 4-20 mA, RS485 and HART options, and IP68 sensor protection for the core GLP-7 series. Optional relay output can support pump start and stop logic.
