Ultrasonic measurement principle: Utilizes advanced ultrasonic techniques such as transit time or Doppler-assisted methods to accurately measure flow velocity and depth. By measuring the time difference between the upstream and downstream propagation of the ultrasonic signal, the flow velocity can be calculated with high accuracy. For open channel flow measurement, it provides accurate readings even in challenging conditions such as changing water levels and flow velocities. Some models can measure forward and reverse flow velocities from 0.02 mm/s to 13.2 m/s with an accuracy of ±1% R.
